We are a leading custom safety matchbox manufactures and Exporters in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu.
It was called Pioneer match works. In the year 1971 the name was changed to Asia Match Company Private Limited. The company has its headquarters in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. Sivakasi is the hub of fireworks and safety matches in India. We have been a pioneer safety match box manufacturer for 70 years and earned remarkable position in the domestic as well as in the international market.
Ever since its inception the company is actively involved in the manufacturing and exporting of safety match sticks and lighters. The company has been successful due to the efforts of its founders, Shri K.A.A. Sankaralingam and Shri K.A.A. Arunachalam.
Over the years, we have widened our infrastructural unit and have the necessary resources to cater to large capacity orders. Now that we are a well-established name in the domestic market, we have also spread our operation in International countries like Sri Lanka, Europe, Africa, South America and Central America.
M/S Standard Fireworks Private Limited is our associate company which is India’s largest firework manufacturer. Apart from this, Modern Matches Pvt Ltd is our sister concern company which is the only ISO 9001 accredited manufacturer in the industry.
Our main product range includes household safety matches both wax and wooden, customised hotel matches, personalised matches and cricket lighters.

We have individual units for packing, pasting, dipping, lamination, trimming and scoring. The working of each unit is carried out under the guidance of experienced craftsmen who overlook the entire process until the finished product has been made. They ensure a smooth manufacturing process. The manufacturing of safety matches involves tremendous amount of labour work.
Apart from this, our factory also comprises of equipment’s like inner pasting machine, slide screening machine, punching machine, wax wire drawing machine and wax frame filling machine.
It is because of our advanced production facility that we can meet the demands of our clients within a stipulated time frame.
Our manufacturing unit is managed by a team of professionals who have the required expertise in the field on safety match production. At our factory, we have allotted one team for each production process. This ensures a smooth manufacturing process and also hastens the same.

Quality Assurance
We are an ISO certified company and also certified by BSCI & supplying FSC product. We have a set standard and at every stage of production we make sure that the manufacturing conforms to that standard.
We have a special quality testing team who check the goods during production. They regularly test the products on various quality parameters like optimal sticks length, strength, counting, head chemical quality, brittleness of the match head, weight, spark, safety, durability, carbonization, wax fixation, burning time and similar properties. We also ensure that these matches are packaged in a way that it prevents damage from moisture or unwanted forces.
Rigid checks and control processes undertaken help us maintain uniformity and consistency in the quality of match boxes we offer to our clients.
